Helen Irving is a Professor at the Sydney Law School, University of Sydney. She is the author of, among others, Citizenship, Alienage and the Modern Constitutional State: A Gendered History (Cambridge University Press, 2016), and editor of Constitutions and Gender (Edward Elgar Research Handbook in Comparative Constitutional Law, 2017).
