Byron Karemba is a doctoral candidate at the University of Leeds. He is conducting research into the constitutional functions and status of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom (UKSC). This extends to investigating whether the Court can be thought of as a constitutional court given the United Kingdom’s unconventional constitutional settlement. This research is funded by a 110th Anniversary Scholarship awarded by the University of Leeds’s Faculty of Education, Social Sciences and Law.
